Shipping & Freight

For an order containing products from a single brand, shipping is a flat rate based on your order total:

  • Orders up to $5,000: $279
  • Orders $5,000 to $10,000: $347
  • Orders $10,000 and over: $517

These rates cover standard freight delivery to a commercial address. After you place your order, our team will confirm your delivery timeline within 1 to 3 business days.

Ordering from more than one brand? Multi-brand orders ship on separate freight and are quoted individually rather than at the flat rate above. Place your order or contact us first and we will confirm total freight before anything is finalized.

Liftgate service is not included in these rates. If your delivery location has no loading dock or forklift to unload the freight from the truck, liftgate service is required and will be added to your shipping charge. If you are unsure whether you need it, contact us before ordering.

Commercial delivery locations are preferred when available. Residential delivery, limited-access locations, and appointment scheduling may affect handling.

Lead times vary by product, manufacturer availability, and selected options. Some configured, special-order, or non-stock items require additional processing time before they ship.

The MBW Light Duty Vibratory Plate line covers portable vibratory plate compactors built for confined-area work in granular soils, sold as the GP12, GP15, and GP18 for sand and gravel, and as the AP12, AP15, and AP18, the same frame with a water tank added, for asphalt. Every model ships standard with a Honda engine and a lift cage. MBW positions the line as an economical option for small to medium compaction jobs, not the large-scale earthwork a bigger plate is built for.

A patented suspension system runs the shock mounts in a shear mode at the high-amplitude front of the plate and a compressive mode at the low-amplitude trailing end, which cuts hand-arm vibration and isolates the engine and other upper-mass components from the exciter. The exciter itself runs oversized, application-matched bearings under an oil-mist lubrication system built to hold up under heat, in a one-piece housing with a self-cleaning, open base-plate design. The guide handles are double isolated to carry less of that vibration to the operator. This is built for crews compacting sand, gravel, and confined backfill on small to medium jobs, not the large-scale sitework a bigger plate handles.

Selection Notes

  • Pick GP for sand and gravel work without a water tank, or AP for asphalt compaction; the AP models add a 2.3 gal water tank and run heavier full than empty (2 to 19 lb depending on size). A water tank kit is also available to add a tank to a GP unit later.
  • Match the 13, 16, or 18 in plate to the lane or area being compacted; the 18 in size steps up to a Honda GX160 engine. Optional wheel kit and UHMW paving pad accessories are available per size; confirm current availability and lead time with the supplier before ordering.
