The MBW ScreeDemon is a vibratory wet screed available with a Honda GX35 gas engine or an M18 RedLithium battery pack, the battery version offered with or without the battery and charger included, and a screed bar in magnesium or aluminum.

Shipping & Freight

For an order containing products from a single brand, shipping is a flat rate based on your order total:

  • Orders up to $5,000: $279
  • Orders $5,000 to $10,000: $347
  • Orders $10,000 and over: $517

These rates cover standard freight delivery to a commercial address. After you place your order, our team will confirm your delivery timeline within 1 to 3 business days.

Ordering from more than one brand? Multi-brand orders ship on separate freight and are quoted individually rather than at the flat rate above. Place your order or contact us first and we will confirm total freight before anything is finalized.

Liftgate service is not included in these rates. If your delivery location has no loading dock or forklift to unload the freight from the truck, liftgate service is required and will be added to your shipping charge. If you are unsure whether you need it, contact us before ordering.

Commercial delivery locations are preferred when available. Residential delivery, limited-access locations, and appointment scheduling may affect handling.

Lead times vary by product, manufacturer availability, and selected options. Some configured, special-order, or non-stock items require additional processing time before they ship.

The MBW ScreeDemon is a vibratory wet screed for striking off and consolidating fresh concrete, a power unit that runs on either a Honda GX35 gas engine or an M18 RedLithium battery pack. The battery version is available with or without the battery and charger included, for crews that already run M18 tools on site. It drives a magnesium or aluminum screed bar, from 4 to 18 ft, that does the actual strike-off against the concrete.

Both power options drive the exciter through simple rubber isolators instead of the complex drive linkages that make conventional wet screeds high-maintenance, and a patented mount retention system lets MBW use low-durometer isolators without losing operator control, reducing hand-arm vibration 50 to 90 percent below competing screeds. Both run a variable throttle for instant response to changing concrete; the gas version pairs that with a 4-stroke Honda GX35 engine, while the battery version swaps the engine for an M18 RedLithium pack, eliminating motor maintenance and component failures and adding LED lights for low-light pours. The screed bar solves a separate problem: conventional screed-and-bar combinations often vibrate unevenly along the bar's length, leaving inconsistent consolidation and uneven cream levels, where the ScreeDemon's magnesium bar uses a back-to-back triangular design that is exceptionally rigid, so vibration from the exciter transmits consistently across the full length. Rather than bolting to the power unit, where hardware threads wear from concrete exposure and crews stop disassembling for cleaning or transport, the bar simply clamps on and can sit offset from the power unit's centerline for working under protrusions. This is built for concrete flatwork crews who need the whole system, engine or battery, exciter, and bar, to keep running through a full day of pours instead of back in the shop.

Selection Notes

  • Choose gas for sites without reliable charging or for crews already running Honda small engines; choose the M18 RedLithium battery version to cut motor maintenance entirely and add LED lights for low-light pours.
  • On the battery version, choose Without Battery if the crew already runs M18 RedLithium tools and batteries on site; choose With Battery for a complete, ready-to-run unit.
  • Choose a magnesium bar for the widest length range (4 to 18 ft) and the lightest weight per foot, or aluminum for 6 to 12 ft. The 18 ft magnesium bar requires two ScreeDemon power units; confirm this configuration and lead time with the supplier before ordering.
