The Baumalight TN560 is a 500 series trencher on a universal skid steer plate for 3,000 to 7,000 lb skid steers, digging 60 in deep and 6, 8 or 10 in wide by chain choice on a planetary drive. It is offered in six chain options, cup tooth or 50/50 rock tooth and cup chain.

Shipping & Freight

Delivery is available to the Lower 48 only; no shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or other US territories. Shipping is a flat rate based on your order total:

  • Orders up to $5,000: $279
  • Orders $5,000.01 to $10,000: $347
  • Orders $10,000.01 and over: $517

These rates cover standard freight delivery to a commercial address. After you place your order, our team will confirm your delivery timeline within 1 to 3 business days.

Liftgate service is required if your delivery location has no loading dock or forklift to unload the freight. If you are unsure whether you need it, contact us before ordering.

Commercial delivery locations are preferred when available. Residential delivery, limited-access locations, and appointment scheduling may affect handling and extend delivery time.

Lead times vary by product, manufacturer availability, and selected options. Some configured, special-order, or non-stock items require additional processing time before they ship.

The Baumalight TN560 is a 500 series trencher on a universal skid steer plate that digs 60 in deep and 6 to 10 in wide, which puts a service line below the frost line from a mid size skid steer. It is for contractors and trade professionals who bury gas, electrical, plumbing and drainage lines at depth and run a skid steer rather than a tractor to do it.

A planetary drive unit delivers hydraulic power straight to the sprocket of the digging chain, with no roller chain to stretch or jump, and the sealed drive keeps dirt out of the gearing. Spoil is carried out to the side of the trench and kept close for backfilling, the hinged crumb scraper bar sweeps loose material back into the chain at any depth, and the solid steel nose runs on dual tapered roller bearings behind a machined washer, a rubber seal and a grease fitting. This is built for the crews that need five feet of depth from the skid steer they already run.

Selection Notes

  • Six chain options are offered, cup tooth or 50/50 rock tooth and cup chain, in 6, 8 and 10 in widths. The rock and cup chain carries carbide rock teeth on half its holders for rocky ground, and the supplier offers a bullet style tooth for rocky soil on request.
  • The carrier band is 3,000 to 7,000 lb skid steers at 40 to 100 HP and 12 to 25 GPM.
  • The freight weight on each row is the highest of the weights for that row.
  • The TN760 is the 700 series high flow trencher at the same 60 in depth for larger carriers.
