The Mi-T-M Semi-Trash Pump moves water carrying sand and light suspended solids without clogging the way a clear-water pump would. Engine-driven 2-inch and 3-inch models cover general site dewatering, with a cast iron impeller and volute and a die-cast aluminum body that keeps the unit light enough to move by hand.

Shipping & Freight

We ship to the 48 contiguous states. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, military (APO/FPO/DPO) addresses or outside the United States.

Smaller items ship by parcel carrier, priced by weight. Larger items and heavy equipment ship by LTL freight, priced by your ZIP code and the delivery type you choose: terminal pickup and dock delivery cost the least, and commercial liftgate, residential liftgate and jobsite delivery each add the carrier’s fee. Your shipping cost is shown at checkout before you pay.

The Mi-T-M Semi-Trash Pump sits between a clear-water transfer pump and a full trash pump. It is built for water that carries sand, silt, and light suspended solids, the kind of dirty water a crew meets when dewatering an excavation or pumping down a flooded pit, where a clear-water pump would stall on the grit.

A precision-molded cast iron impeller and volute take the wear that suspended solids cause, and a die-cast aluminum housing keeps the unit light enough for one person to reposition around a site. Rubber isolators on a wraparound frame hold vibration down through long pumping runs. This is a pump for routine dirty-water work, not for waste that carries the larger debris a trash pump is made to pass.

  • Dewatering excavations, trenches, and foundation pits that hold gritty or silty water
  • Pumping down flooded sumps, pits, and low spots on construction sites
  • Transferring water that carries sand and light suspended solids

Selection Notes

  • Choose a 2-inch model for general dewatering and tighter access; step up to a 3-inch model for higher volume on larger pits and longer runs.
  • The Honda and Mi-T-M engine options share the same pump end on each frame size; pick by your service and parts preference.
  • For waste water carrying solids larger than sand and silt, move up to the Mi-T-M Trash Pump, which passes solids up to 1 inch.
