The Eterra Stinger Spiral Splitter converts an auger drive into a log splitter. Its specialized spiral amplifies splitting force so less effort is needed on logs of varying size and density, and the hub converts between a 2 inch hex and a 2-9/16 inch round shaft by removing six bolts. The drive must deliver at least 2,100 ft-lb of torque.

Delivery is available to the Lower 48 only; no shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or other US territories. Shipping is a flat rate based on your order total:

  • Orders up to $5,000: $279
  • Orders $5,000.01 to $10,000: $347
  • Orders $10,000.01 and over: $517

These rates cover standard freight delivery to a commercial address. After you place your order, our team will confirm your delivery timeline within 1 to 3 business days.

Liftgate service is required if your delivery location has no loading dock or forklift to unload the freight. If you are unsure whether you need it, contact us before ordering.

Commercial delivery locations are preferred when available. Residential delivery, limited-access locations, and appointment scheduling may affect handling and extend delivery time.

The Eterra Stinger Spiral Splitter turns an auger drive into a log splitter. The cone threads itself into the end grain and the spiral is what amplifies the splitting force, so a log gives way with less effort than a ram-type splitter needs on the same round.

It handles logs of varying size and density. That is what makes it useful on firewood work, where the pile is rarely uniform, and on commercial log preparation, where the volume is what matters.

The shaft type is a buyer choice rather than two products. Six bolts hold the hub, and removing them converts the splitter between a 2 inch hex and a 2-9/16 inch round shaft, so one unit follows a crew across drives with different outputs.

The torque requirement is the thing to check before ordering. Eterra states the drive must deliver at least 2,100 ft-lb for the splitter to work as intended.
