The UM-Series is Multiquip's flex-shaft concrete vibrator with the motor, shaft and head supplied as one assembly, running on a 120 V universal motor drawing 3.8 A. Eight builds cover head diameters from 0.90 to 1.50 in on 3.2, 4.9 and 8.2 ft shafts, all rated for concrete at a slump of 3 in or more.

Shipping & Freight

For an order containing products from a single brand, shipping is a flat rate based on your order total:

  • Orders up to $5,000: $279
  • Orders $5,000 to $10,000: $347
  • Orders $10,000 and over: $517

These rates cover standard freight delivery to a commercial address. After you place your order, our team will confirm your delivery timeline within 1 to 3 business days.

Ordering from more than one brand? Multi-brand orders ship on separate freight and are quoted individually rather than at the flat rate above. Place your order or contact us first and we will confirm total freight before anything is finalized.

Liftgate service is not included in these rates. If your delivery location has no loading dock or forklift to unload the freight from the truck, liftgate service is required and will be added to your shipping charge. If you are unsure whether you need it, contact us before ordering.

Commercial delivery locations are preferred when available. Residential delivery, limited-access locations, and appointment scheduling may affect handling.

Lead times vary by product, manufacturer availability, and selected options. Some configured, special-order, or non-stock items require additional processing time before they ship.

Consolidating a placement is a job measured in reach and in head size, not in horsepower: the head has to fit between the bar and the shaft has to get it to the bottom of the form. The UM-Series ships as one assembly, motor and shaft and head together, so what a crew orders is a working vibrator rather than a power source that still needs a shaft matched to it. Eight builds cover four head diameters across three shaft lengths, which is what lets one range serve slab work and deep wall pours from the same shelf.

The motor case is aluminium to keep the unit light on a shoulder through a pour, the handle is vibration dampened so the operator's hands are not taking what the head is putting into the concrete, and the whole unit is double insulated, which is why no ground connection is required at the outlet. A sealed fan keeps the cement dust that hangs over a placement from being pulled through the motor. This is built for the concrete crews consolidating placements at a slump of three or more, and for the contractor who wants a shelf of ready-to-run units rather than a box of shafts.

Selection Notes

  • Head diameter sets both the amplitude and the space the head needs; the 0.90 in head is the one that goes into congested bar, and the 1.50 in head carries the largest amplitude in the range
  • Shaft length is what decides reach; the 3.2 ft builds are for slab work and the 8.2 ft builds for anything the operator has to reach down into
  • The 0.90 in and 1.25 in heads are offered on the 8.2 ft shaft only, so a short-shaft requirement narrows the choice to the 1.10 in and 1.50 in heads
