The Star Industries Heavy Duty Forklift Bucket turns a telehandler into a loader, in two mount styles: a quick-tach that connects straight to the boom, and a universal bucket that slips over 48 inch forks. Twelve models from 60 to 97 inches wide and 0.80 to 2.00 cubic yards.

Shipping & Freight

Delivery is available to the Lower 48 only; no shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or other US territories. Shipping is a flat rate based on your order total:

  • Orders up to $5,000: $279
  • Orders $5,000.01 to $10,000: $347
  • Orders $10,000.01 and over: $517

These rates cover standard freight delivery to a commercial address. After you place your order, our team will confirm your delivery timeline within 1 to 3 business days.

Liftgate service is required if your delivery location has no loading dock or forklift to unload the freight. If you are unsure whether you need it, contact us before ordering.

Commercial delivery locations are preferred when available. Residential delivery, limited-access locations, and appointment scheduling may affect handling and extend delivery time.

Lead times vary by product, manufacturer availability, and selected options. Some configured, special-order, or non-stock items require additional processing time before they ship.

Please inspect all freight shipments at delivery before signing. If you see visible damage, note it with the carrier and contact us as soon as possible.

If you need freight, delivery, or lead-time guidance before ordering, contact our team before you purchase.

Compatibility / Fitment

Compatibility varies by product type, machine setup, selected options, and intended application.

For machine-mounted equipment and attachments, buyers should confirm fitment before ordering using the relevant machine information, including model, attachment style, mount type, coupler type, hydraulic requirements, and any other product-specific requirements listed on the page.

Hardscape Heavy can assist with pre-order fitment guidance based on the information you provide. This guidance is limited to purchase and compatibility review before ordering and does not include field installation, hydraulic modification, fabrication, or on-site setup support.

If you are unsure whether a product will work with your machine or application, contact us before placing the order.

Returns & Warranty

Warranty coverage is provided by the product manufacturer where applicable. Warranty terms, coverage periods, exclusions, and claim procedures vary by brand and product type.

Hardscape Heavy does not create separate warranty coverage beyond the manufacturer’s warranty unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Returns are governed by our store return policy. Because many products in this category involve freight shipping, special ordering, or configuration-specific selections, return eligibility may vary by product and condition. Special-order, custom-configured, used, damaged, or installed items may not be eligible for return.

Please review our full return policy before purchase. If you have questions about return eligibility or manufacturer warranty coverage for a specific item, contact us before ordering.

The Star Industries Heavy Duty Forklift Bucket lets a machine that came to site to place pallets also move loose stock, and it puts that material where a wheel loader has no way in: over a wall, onto a deck, behind an elevated obstruction. On a job with one machine, that is the difference between a second hire and a five minute change.

Star builds it two ways, and the choice is a real one rather than a trim level. The quick-tach connects straight to the end of the boom with the forks and carriage removed, which takes 700 to 1,000 pounds off the machine and hands that back as lift capacity, so it is the choice where the load is heavy or the reach is long. The universal model slides over 48 inch forks and pins behind the heel, which leaves the forks on the machine and carries a deeper shell for awkward loads, so it is the choice where the operator swaps back and forth all day. Three widths run through both styles, with high back and high capacity shells where the machine's quick-tach or the material calls for them, and an extreme duty shell on the quick-tach for machines rated at fifteen thousand pounds and above. This is for general contractors and rental fleets running one telehandler across several trades.

Common Applications

  • Moving sand, gravel and aggregate around a congested site
  • Placing loose material at height or behind a wall
  • Site cleanup and debris collection on a fork-equipped machine
  • Backfilling and stockpile work where a loader cannot reach

Selection Notes

  • Quick-tach removes the forks and carriage and hands 700 to 1,000 lb back as lift capacity
  • The universal model leaves the forks on the machine and carries a deeper shell
  • Gehl Dynacarrier, JCB QFit and Pettibone quick-tachs require an HB or HC series bucket
  • The extreme duty 1496EXD is for forklifts rated 15,000 lb or greater; check the machine's rating first
  • The slip-on models are designed for 48 in forks, so check fork length before ordering
  • The bolt-on cutting edge is selected on this listing rather than ordered separately, at 60 in, 72 in and 95 in
  • The 97 in extreme duty bucket has no blade option here, because Star publishes no bolt-on blade at that width
  • Ordering a quick-tach model means stating the make, model and year of the forklift
  • Confirm your carrier's rated operating capacity before ordering
