Shipping: LTL freight. Commercial delivery preferred.

The Baumalight QC series is the brand's four-pole PTO generator line in one configurable range, documented by the supplier across five voltage pages: 120/240 single phase, 120/208 three phase, 120/240 three phase, 277/480 three phase, and 347/600 three phase. Sixteen orderable configurations run from 12 kW to 76 kW at the tractor PTO, each on its own two-wheel trailer with a fully shielded shaft and a 10 ft cord, on a copper-wound brushless genset with automatic voltage regulation and the DisplayMaster1 monitor.

Shipping & Freight

Delivery is available to the Lower 48 only; no shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or other US territories. Shipping is a flat rate based on your order total:

  • Orders up to $5,000: $279
  • Orders $5,000.01 to $10,000: $347
  • Orders $10,000.01 and over: $517

These rates cover standard freight delivery to a commercial address. After you place your order, our team will confirm your delivery timeline within 1 to 3 business days.

Liftgate service is required if your delivery location has no loading dock or forklift to unload the freight. If you are unsure whether you need it, contact us before ordering.

Commercial delivery locations are preferred when available. Residential delivery, limited-access locations, and appointment scheduling may affect handling and extend delivery time.

Lead times vary by product, manufacturer availability, and selected options. Some configured, special-order, or non-stock items require additional processing time before they ship.

Please inspect all freight shipments at delivery before signing. If you see visible damage, note it with the carrier and contact us as soon as possible.

If you need freight, delivery, or lead-time guidance before ordering, contact our team before you purchase.

Compatibility / Fitment

Compatibility varies by product type, machine setup, selected options, and intended application.

For machine-mounted equipment and attachments, buyers should confirm fitment before ordering using the relevant machine information, including model, attachment style, mount type, coupler type, hydraulic requirements, and any other product-specific requirements listed on the page.

Hardscape Heavy can assist with pre-order fitment guidance based on the information you provide. This guidance is limited to purchase and compatibility review before ordering and does not include field installation, hydraulic modification, fabrication, or on-site setup support.

If you are unsure whether a product will work with your machine or application, contact us before placing the order.

Returns & Warranty

Warranty coverage is provided by the product manufacturer where applicable. Warranty terms, coverage periods, exclusions, and claim procedures vary by brand and product type.

Hardscape Heavy does not create separate warranty coverage beyond the manufacturer’s warranty unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Returns are governed by our store return policy. Because many products in this category involve freight shipping, special ordering, or configuration-specific selections, return eligibility may vary by product and condition. Special-order, custom-configured, used, damaged, or installed items may not be eligible for return.

Please review our full return policy before purchase. If you have questions about return eligibility or manufacturer warranty coverage for a specific item, contact us before ordering.

The QC series is where the Baumalight generator line goes three phase, and the voltage is the decision a buyer makes first. One machine is offered in five electrical configurations, and the right one is set by the service being backed up rather than by the machine: single phase for a shop or an office, 120/208 or 120/240 three phase for equipment motors, 277/480 for an industrial service, and 347/600 for the distribution most common across Canada. It is built for contractors, utility crews and facilities that already run a tractor and need three phase standby or remote power without a dedicated engine-driven set.

Each configuration is reached by how the alternator is connected rather than by a different machine, and the supplier names the connection for each one: dedicated, parallel low WYE, series high delta or series high WYE. That is why the frame, the trailer, the gearbox and the monitor are the same whichever voltage is ordered, and why the tractor is sized from one set of load figures per configuration. Inside is a cast-iron, four-pole, brushless genset on four oversized copper windings, geared to turn well below engine speed for duty cycle rather than for peak output, with automatic voltage regulation holding output within 1 percent from 64 down to 56 Hz and the DisplayMaster1 putting voltage, frequency, amperage, kW, kVA, power factor, run time and peak and average kVA on one screen. The 277/480 volt units carry a different panel and breaker and no welder or duplex receptacles, and the QC75-6 runs on the tractor's higher PTO speed, so check the panel and the PTO range against the job before choosing. Pick the voltage from the service and size the tractor from the full-load column.

Common Applications

  • Three phase standby power for a shop, service building or facility during an outage
  • Remote power at a jobsite from a tractor already on site
  • Running equipment motors away from a permanent service
  • Feeding a welder from the 50 amp welder receptacle on the 120/240 configurations

Selection Notes

  • Choose the voltage before the output. Each configuration is a different part number and a different price, and the same nominal model can be ordered in up to four of them.
  • Size the tractor against the 100 percent load column if the generator will run near its rating, not against the 50 percent column.
  • The three 277/480 volt configurations are rated at 33, 50 and 76 kW. Confirm the rating before ordering against a load calculation that is tight at the top.
  • The 277/480 volt units carry a different connection panel and breaker and no welder receptacle or 20 amp duplex receptacles.
  • The QC75-6 runs at a 1,000 rpm PTO speed rather than 540. Check the tractor has that PTO range.
  • The 120/208 volt units carry a 208 volt welder receptacle; the 120/240 units carry 240 volt; the 277/480 and 347/600 units carry none.
  • The QC12 ships with a 50 amp range plug on the 10 ft cord rather than the 175 amp Anderson connector fitted to the rest of the line.
  • Ask if a configuration above 76 kW, or a 27 or 50 kW unit at 347/600 volt, is needed.
  • Never mount a generator directly onto concrete, rock, metal or soil. The supplier's rubber mount kit, D001478, four isolators to a set, goes under the tires on a concrete pad.
  • The 10 ft cord is included. The supplier cuts generator cable to any length at added cost, a three phase run needs four strands of wire, and the trailer jack, G2107, is a separate part.

Five voltage configurations of one machine
The service being backed up sets the order, and the frame, trailer, gearbox and monitor stay the same
Four oversized copper windings
Surge capacity of up to three times rated power on the larger configurations, so a motor starting under load does not pull the voltage down
Automatic voltage regulation
Output holds within 1 percent when a load steps on or drops off
DisplayMaster1 monitor
Voltage, frequency, amperage, kW, kVA, power factor and run time read from one screen, with a green light at the right PTO speed
Reset circuit breakers
A surge is cleared by resetting the breaker rather than by finding a spare fuse
