These are the wet core barrels built for hand-held and stand-mounted core drills, published in eleven diameters from 3 in through 16 in. Every size takes the same 1-1/4-7 thread and cuts to a 12 in depth, and none of them fits the Core EZ system, which runs a separate bit line of its own.

Shipping & Freight

For an order containing products from a single brand, shipping is a flat rate based on your order total:

  • Orders up to $5,000: $279
  • Orders $5,000 to $10,000: $347
  • Orders $10,000 and over: $517

These rates cover standard freight delivery to a commercial address. After you place your order, our team will confirm your delivery timeline within 1 to 3 business days.

Ordering from more than one brand? Multi-brand orders ship on separate freight and are quoted individually rather than at the flat rate above. Place your order or contact us first and we will confirm total freight before anything is finalized.

Liftgate service is not included in these rates. If your delivery location has no loading dock or forklift to unload the freight from the truck, liftgate service is required and will be added to your shipping charge. If you are unsure whether you need it, contact us before ordering.

Commercial delivery locations are preferred when available. Residential delivery, limited-access locations, and appointment scheduling may affect handling.

Lead times vary by product, manufacturer availability, and selected options. Some configured, special-order, or non-stock items require additional processing time before they ship.

Please inspect all freight shipments at delivery before signing. If you see visible damage, note it with the carrier and contact us as soon as possible.

These are the barrels a coring crew fits when the hole goes through concrete and the water is running. U.S. Saws builds them for its hand-held drills and for its stand-mounted rigs, and publishes eleven diameters against the ten its Core EZ line carries, reaching further at the top end. This is the line for the mechanical, electrical and plumbing contractor whose rig is a hand-held drill or a drill on a stand.

One thread runs the whole range, so the machine end never changes and the only thing the size decision moves is the diameter of the hole and the price of the barrel. Depth of cut is the same on every diameter, which means a size is chosen for the penetration it has to make and not for how deep the barrel will reach. The one thing to get right before ordering is the rig: U.S. Saws states these are not for the Core EZ system, so a crew running that machine is buying the wrong line here and should be looking at the Core EZ bits instead.

Common Applications

  • Coring concrete for pipe, conduit and duct penetrations with a hand-held drill
  • Coring concrete from a stand-mounted rig where the hole has to be held true
  • Wet cutting core holes in the 3 in to 16 in diameter band

Selection Notes

  • These bits do not fit the Core EZ system; the Core EZ has its own bit line and the two do not interchange
  • Eleven diameters are published, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 14 and 16 in, and the range runs six inches wider at the top than the Core EZ line
  • The thread is 1-1/4-7 on every size in the line, so the connection is the same barrel to barrel
  • All eleven are wet bits and are published for wet use only
  • Sizes outside the published eleven are available on request
  • No usable weight is published; one figure covers every size and is withheld
